  • 3 olive oil

  • 1, NA, 1/2 unsalted butter

  • 1 1/2 unsalted butter

  • 8 lemon zest

  • 1 green onion

  • 1 smoked salmon

  • 3 1/2 fresh thyme

  • 1 egg

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Salmon Rillettes in your home by yourself.

Directions: How to Make Salmon Rillettes

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a fry pan heat the olive oil.

  3. Season salmon fillet with salt and pepper, put into pan and cook until lightly browned on one side, about 5 minutes. Then repeat and when done, remove from pan and set aside, do not overcook the salmon.

  4. In a bowl mix together the butter, egg, lemon zest and green onions

  5. Add the salmon, smoked salmon and brie, stir gently to combine mixture

  6. Place mixture in small casserole and bake at 375 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes

  7. Remove from oven, stir mixture a few times, then place in serving dish and enjoy with slices of crusty baquette., This is good warm or cold, leftovers are great!
