  • 1 margarine

  • 2 -3 onion

  • 1 garlic

  • 1 whole green chilies

  • 1 ground beef

  • 1 diced tomatoes

  • 2 -3 tomato sauce

  • 1 dried cilantro

  • 1/2 oregano

  • 1 cumin

  • 1/8 cocoa powder

  • 2 ground cardamom

  • 1/8 chili powder

  • 1/4 cayenne pepper

  • 1, NA, 1, NA paprika

  • salt

  • ground pepper

  • pinto beans

  • monterey jack cheese

Directions: How to Make Judy's Chili

  1. Saute onion, garlic, and chiles; add ground beef and continue cooking over medium heat until beef is cooked.

  2. Drain off fat.

  4. Heat to boiling and reduce heat to slow simmer.

  5. Cover and simmer (stirring occasionally 45 minutes, stir in beans and continue to simmer until beans are heated.
