I have no idea who 'Margaret' is or was, but the recipe was given to me 25-30 years ago by Pam Spenner, wife of my former manager, in Williston ND.

  • 1 1/2 flour

  • 1 1/2 brown sugar

  • 1/2 granulated sugar

  • 1 baking powder

  • 1/2 baking soda

  • 1 salt

  • 2 1/2 oatmeal

  • 1 flaked coconut

  • 1 walnuts

  • 1 butter

  • 1 margarine

  • 1 eggs

  • 3 vanilla extract
